Metal Works of High Point, Inc. provides precision laser cutting services to create custom fabricated components for customers across a spectrum of industries. Our ISO compliant facility features advanced 3 axis cutting systems utilizing a new state of the art Fiber Optic laser and a CO2 (gaseous) laser with flying optics configuration. The new fiber optic technology cuts at speeds 3-4 times faster than CO2 technology enabling us to provide superior value to our clients. Automation systems for sheet loading and unloading, as well as lights out capabilities allow a 24 hour operating schedule. Powerful 4000 watt output in both the Fiber Optic and CO2 laser cuts through mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and copper in sizes up to 10’ in length by 5’ in width to an accuracy of ± 0.002". Acceptable cutting thickness is up to 0.75" for mild steel, up to 0.5" for stainless, up to 0.375" for aluminum, and up to 0.25" for brass and copper. Our team of seasoned professionals cost effectively create parts of limitless geometries with typical lead times of 2 to 4 weeks.

All phases of manufacturing are carried out in-house, with secondary operations including CNC forming, CNC machining, welding, deburring, assembly, parts detailing, polishing, sanding, powder coating and finishing available. Quality is assured with our integrated QA system including CMM modalities, real time parts tracking, and documentation.
